The AEPEV
The Spanish Association of Wine and Spirits Journalists and Writers (AEPEV) is an organization made up of journalists, communicators, editors and wine writers who are united by a passion for wine, vines and the wine and spirits industry. to which we dedicate part of our time, whether as a main or partial professional occupation from the practice of journalism, criticism, technical or descriptive writing in any of the many facets that the world of wine offers us.
Founded in 1992 by a few famous journalists, today it reaches 180 associates who make the AEPEV the largest professional organization of journalists specialized in Wine and Spirits. Members of FAPE, Federation of Press Associations of Spain and since 1997, members of FIJEV, International Federation of Wine Journalists and Writers.
CODHIVI
In 2020, CODHIVI (Hispanic Digital Wine Community) was established in order to include digital communicators from different Spanish-speaking countries and echo the work of those professionals who regularly work in digital media.
This is our Objective
Without a doubt, our vocation is to bring the word of wine and spirits to public opinion.
Our ultimate goal is citizens interested in learning more about wine and spirits, our group is extremely careful with the veracity of their information and for this it is committed to a SELF-REGULATION CODE that guarantees our main objective.
Being aware that each consumer has a different palate and that culturally they recognise different qualities from other wine lovers, we consider that bringing together in this PWC contest the main opinion-makers in the sector who have been tasting wine and spirits daily for years, is the best option to give guarantee and value to the results of the contest.
